Spring Update, pt. 2

A little later than expected, perhaps. Nothing like a pandemic to help one tidy up one’s projects.

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve made major additions to the site, primarily in the Early and Youth sections. Poets and Plays have notably been added, as well as Pelican Classics and the English Library.

There is a lot left to do. On top of reorganizing, targets for the coming weeks include:

• Periodicals (New Writing, Science News, Penguin Parade, etc.)
• Specials
• Puffin Picture books and Peacocks
• Penguin Lives cleanup
• Penguin Classics, 3rd edition

Once that’s done, I’d like to tackle the next leg of the project, which is to distinguish which books are in print for multiple editions. For example, Bel-Ami, Classics L2, was only published in the 1946 format, but not the 60s or 80s versions. We’ll see. It might be another seven years!

I’ve also done my best to apply any information supplied in the comments. If you see an error or an omission in any list, please leave a note. I very much appreciate the assistance.
