The Penguin Checklist Project

The purpose of the Penguin Checklist Project is to categorize every single Penguin book published. It is, unquestionably, a work in eternal progress.

The project is not associated with Penguin Random House, and is not for profit. It is designed to help bibliophiles complete their own collections by providing checklists for the various series that Penguin has published since its inception in 1935.  You can find these editions in the tabs above.

After going through the database, you can buy new Penguin Books by heading to Penguin’s website.

This database is the collection of many people’s work, but it is assembled here by only one person. Because of this, there are sure to be mistakes, omissions, and obfuscations. If you have knowledge that can help repair or fill one of these checklists, please comment on this page. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck, and happy hunting!
